Even more puzzling: where's the average Iranian's condemnation (with few exceptions such as yours). I give you the answer: these folks are not Palestinians. Iranians' bleeding hearts and condemnations begin and end with Palestinians--and not just any Palestinians. There are bad Palestinians that must be exterminated by tens of thousands--such as the ones in the Yarmouk refugee camp. We're talking about telegenic Palestinians that you can get good propaganda mileage out of, i.e., the ones in Gaza.
You know, Ari Siletz was so incensed by the murder of the three Palestinian-Americans by their neighbor in the U.S. a year of so ago that he wrote a whole blog about it on IC, and even twisted the murderer's words to make it appear as if he was anti-Muslim, when in fact the comment that Ari had quoted from the guy out of context was actually part of a Facebook post where the guy was defending Muslims. Now, we all know Ari's command of the English language. So, there was no way that he could have misunderstod the quote. But in his rage about the harm inflicted on Palestinians, he actually wrote a blog that misrepresented the facts. BTW, have you ever seen Ari Siletz write a blog about the atrocities committed aganist Iranians by the IR? May be there is one out there, but I don't recall seeing one.
Well said. Don't start me on that phoney.....
Let me stary by offering my condolences , in this holiest of most religious holidays (well, on a recent ranking system, it came up at number 2 so it will play in the Cotton bowl...oops...getting things mixed up now:))
Especially to My Super-shiite friend AO. Should we meet at the local mosque to commemorate "Fatemieh"? call me and let me know por favor:0
Speaking of Ari. HAving the command of a certain language is one thing, but whether you can really get your point across clearly is really another issue altogether. I think He falls in that category, But he actually went throgh the trouble of travelling up to N.carlonia to interview that monkey Mohsen Kadivar, Sorry, that is what i think of all clergies with a piece of table cloth wrapped around their heads, regardless of their Ideology...
I just get so turned off to see that there are iranians out there that are willing to go to any lenght to prove that it is possible to pull something good out of something so corrupt and wrong on all levels, a system of government , if we call it that , e.g. IRI, all in the name of "national Unity" . Poor guy, at least he can't say, he didn't try.
How could people Justify Thuggary, even its reformed version? Once a thug, always a thug, And when they get reformed they become even more thuggish than before.
