 2013. The difference in date depends on whether you’re east or west of the international Date Line. The large gray circle represents the path the partial solar eclipse whereas the small red dot depicts the very narrow path of the annular eclipse, which many are calling a ring of fire eclipse. As you can see, the eclipse sweeps across Australia, and, for Australians, the date will be May 10.
