The Russian fable of the scorpion and the frog reflects on inability of humans to repress their nature.

The ruling Mollafia and its factions collectively are the proverbial scorpion driven by the urge to sting regardless of the consequences for the Iranian people.  The panic of the Leader is palpable.

The sheepish behaviour of Iranian people is intriguing.  They know the nature of the scorpion very well, yet they collectively behave exactly like the proverbial frog risking their ruin by war or attrition instead of kicking the “shite” out of the Mollafia because they are incapable of overcoming psychology of terror.
