Masih Alinejad, the tireless, high profile anti-forced Hijab activist was invited by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for a meeting.

Here is Masih on what she conveyed to Secretary Pompeo:

Here's what I talked about with Sec Pompeo:

1) Many Iranians want an end to the Islamic Republic. Opposition's voice should be heard

2) Intl community should focus on 40 years of human rights violations by the regime

3) Traven ban hurts human rights activists, not the regime"

Here is the logic of “journalist” Siavash Ardalan, a pro-reformist faction of the Islamist fascists, who used to earn his bread by work for U.S, taxpayer funded Radio liberty/Farda and like so many others of his inclination from there moved to Persian service of BBC:

"It's a good sign Mr Sec to meet Iranian activists and to solicit their views and insights. For this endeavour to be seen as a genuine US concern for women's rights, it needs to be followed up by granting a similar audience to jailed female activists in Saudi Arabia as well."

In other words; the logic of Haji BBC “journalist” activist dictates any such meeting will only be genuine if it is extended to all other such cases in the world. That would mean almost all the counties in the world where the rights of women are violated.

On the other hand, Siamak Dehghanpour, a veteran VOA journalist who is on the black list of the head of the Persian Service of the Voice of America, offers this advice:

“Instead of attacking it due political differences, Right now the duty of a journalist is to invite Masih Alinejad to discuss the details of her meeting and reasons for it.

This is a news item; this is the time when they say a journalist’s political view has to be left out of his/her work.”

Journalism as a vital profession is in jeopardy all over the world, lets hope the logic of sidelined Journalists like Dehghanpour wins over the logic of Haji BBCs.

Airtight sanctions - which includes oil - a la against the despicable South Africa apartheid, works. U.S. lawmakers get to it.
