It is an undeniable case of history repeating itself, and not ancient, long forgotten history, rather, a soul wrenching period in the contemporary history.

Perhaps one of the more cited poems describing the oversight of many in the world, which led to the preventable catastrophe of Nazi Germany, belongs to the Protestant pastor and social activist Martin Niemöller:

“When the Nazis came for the communists,

I remained silent;

I was not a communist.

When they locked up the social democrats,

I remained silent;

I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the trade unionists,

I did not speak out;

I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for the Jews,

I remained silent;

I wasn't a Jew.

When they came for me,

There was no one left to speak out.”

From Basijies/Brownshirts to expansionism, and rabid anti-Semitism, for the past forty years the unreformable, expansionist and warmongering Islamist fascists ruling over Iran have copied Nazis to the letter.

Now news comes of the expropriation of the Christian properties in Iran. A tactic used by the Islamist fascists against all those they deem undesirable.

Isn’t time for the sane world to stop this madness of trying to appease the Islamist fascists, hoping they would “reform”?

Airtight sanctions, a la against the despicable South Africa apartheid, works. U.S. lawmakers get to it.
