With all the bloodletting in the Middle East, these are undoubtedly some of the worst times in the region in recent memory.

With the expansionist and warmongering Islamist fascists participating and fanning the flames of wars in many theaters of conflict, opportunity exists for bold peace making moves.

News:

“Israeli Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz wants Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to visit, his spokesman said Wednesday, in what would be a historic trip involving two nations with no official diplomatic ties.

"He said that he asks the king to invite (Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu officially to Riyadh, and he asks MBS, Mohammed bin Salman, the son, to come and visit Israel," Shalicar said of Katz, who is also transportation minister.”

As unfathomable as it might sound to some, specially the ones who have their mind made up with repeating the failed ways of the past will eventually produce positive result, any hope for resolution to some of the seemingly intractable problems can be found with courageous moves like the one the late Anwar Sadat of Egypt made with his historic visit to Israel.

Thanks to the selflessness of Sadat, not only Egypt got all the lands she could not get with repeated warring, Egypt has now been freed of a taxing state of war for decades.

Lets hope Sadat’s kind of vision and courage can be found in other Arab leaders, maverick leaders like the Saudi Crown Prince.

Airtight sanctions, a la against the despicable South Africa apartheid, works. U.S. lawmakers get to it.

Ps. Israel is Iran’s historic, cultural and strategic ally, the sooner the expansionist and warmongering Islamist fascists are relegated to the dustbin of history, the sooner these two great allied nations can help bring peace and tranquility to the war ravaged Middle East.
