There is no question of his mass murdering Iranians, he proudly admitted to murdering over 500:

"I killed over 500 criminals close to the royal family, hundreds of rebels in the Kurdistan, Gonabad, and Khuzestan regions, and many drug smugglers,… I feel no regret or guilt over the executions. Yet I think I killed little. There were many more who deserved to be killed, but I could not get my hands on them.”

Ayatollah Mohammad-Sadegh Givi Khalkhali was the murderous Ayatollah Khomeini’s hanging judge. His murder spree was during the time the current leaders of the “reformist” branch of the cabal have labeled as the “golden era” and wish to take Iran back to it.

His daughter, Fatemeh Sadeghi, has chosen to break her decades- long silence, and in an interview defends her father’s mass murders by saying:

“I don't want to say that my father was kind -- not at all. But that ideological atmosphere required revolutionary decisiveness….At that time; they all wanted to present themselves as revolutionaries to scare the enemy. This is how I see things,”

Like the nonsensical “collateral damage" used for murdered civilians in wars, the daughter of the Islamist fascists’ better known mass murderer sanitizes his fathers crimes against humanity by labeling it as required “revolutionary decisiveness.”

This nonchalantly justifying and approving mass murders, which she as a recognized member of the “reformist” branch of the Islamist fascism displays, as her father was during his last years before passing, is prevalent among Islamist fascists of all stripes and is at the core of why there is no way this murderous machinery can be reformed.

Airtight sanctions, a la against the despicable South Africa apartheid, works. U.S. lawmakers get to it.
