Say whatever nasty stuff you like about Donald Trump, the 45^th president of the United States, he probably deserves it and then some.

However, what the First Lady and First Daughter, Melania and Ivanka, have done in the state visit to Arabia is just marvelous and deserve a loud unequivocal THANK YOU.

When nearly four years ago Michelle Obama, the former First Lady, accompanied the ex-president to Arabia, she chose to buck the despicable misogynistic “tradition”  of forced hejab and refused to wear it.

At the time, despite my utter contempt for Obama’s disastrous foreign policy, I posted a THANK YOU blog in Persian, lauding what the First Lady had done.

To my mind, contrary to all the high hopes I had for it, in foreign-policy sphere, Obama’s presidency will go down in history as one of the most abysmal, the only saving grace is what First Lady did in Arabia opening the way for others to follow.

As Melania and Ivanka have done, lets hope female Western politicians/high profile persons will see the light and follow in the former First Lady Michelle’s footstep.

Lets hope female politicians like these will mend their ways on the next visit to Iran, which is being ruled by the unreformable, warmongering and uber misogynistic Islamist fascists –“reformers” and all, and refuse to wear the demeaning mandatory hijab.
