I was there in 2006. What a majestic place. Of course there were more foriegn visitors there than Iranians.
If it were entirely up to the anti nationalist mullahs, they would have totally demilshed the site in 1979...I guess they are just letting lack of attention do the job now.
Sad, but it the people's fault. They value some emamzadeh more than their heritage, and that's why we are the way we are.

Its interesting that IRI warned syrian rebels (vahabi islamo facists) becuase they managed to damge or destroy part of roghieh , fatemeh or what ever shia shrine is over there and not one word or one effort to preserve anything in Iran.
